kmX
In 2015, we introduced a side program to deliver a broader variety of content in our host city. This included exhibitions by creative groups contacted through the twin town network, guided tours by the Tallinn-based Urban Lab, an artist talk from MoKS Art Residency and our own guided tours in collaboration with Võru Folk Festival. Some of these elements stood on their own as independent contributions, while others were custom designed to support the main exhibition by helping to unpack the works on display and activate their stories and intentions.
The side program, now known as kmX, will continue in 2016 as it started – a program that primarily seeks out relevant content from similar regional towns and centres through the twin town network and other means in order to activate inter-regional exchange.
As new participants are confirmed for kmX 2016 they will be announced here and through our Facebook page, and the final list will be announced in April 2016.
